Oregano is a perennial herb that grows from 20–80 cm (7.9–31.5 in) tall, with opposite leaves 1–4 cm (0.39–1.57 in) long. It is sometimes called wild marjoram. It is an important culinary herb that is used for the flavor of its leaves which can be more flavorful when they are dried rather than when they are fresh. It has a warm arnormatic taste that can be quite bitter and vary in intensity. Oregano that is of good quality can be strong enough to numb the tongue
So can hamsters eat oregano?
Yes they can eat it in small amounts in moderation. However, too much may make them sick.
A few small pieces of oregano leaf will suffice that they can hold in their paws.
