Updated August 20th, 2016. Dark Chocolate is chocolate without milk or just a small amount of milk.
It is referred to as called plain chocolate.
The U.S. Government calls this type of chocolate sweet chocolate, and requires a 15% concentration of chocolate liquor.
European rules specify a minimum of at least 35% cocoa solids. (source)
It is sold in many different countries around the world and is loved for its variation from chocolate with a larger milk content.
So can hamsters eat dark chocolate at all?
Unfortunately they cant as it is has too much sugar and fat in it.
Chocolate has too much that is too bad for them and will make them sick if they eat it.
