Cat treats are is specifically designed for the nutritional requirements and consumption of cats.
Cat treats are generally made by extrusion cooking under high heat and pressure.

Other minor ingredients, such as heat-sensitive vitamins, which would be destroyed in the extrusion process, may be added. (source)
So can hamsters eat cat treats?
Unfortunately they cant at all.
Cat treats are made specifically for the diet of cats and are not suitable for hamsters.
Many hamster owners testify to feeding their hamsters dry cat food as they say the vitamins and minerals that they contain benefit hamsters as well, but any type of cat food is very much fed at the owners risk as far as hamsters are concerned.
