Butter is a solid dairy product that is made by churning fresh or fermented cream or milk, to separate the butter fat from the buttermilk.
It is used to spread on plain or toasted bread and as a condiment on cooked vegetables.
Butter is also used in cooking such as baking, sauce making and pan frying.
It consists of milk proteins, water and butterfat, but is frequently made from cows milk.(source)
So can hamsters eat butter at all?
Unfortunately butter is not good for hamsters to eat.
The fat that it contains is not good for hamsters at all and will make them sick.
A food to avoid feeding them.
