As pets, commercial seed mixes tend to contain from 2-8 different kinds of seeds.
But they tend to be high in fat and carbohydrates and provides a decreased or imbalanced source of many nutrients if they are fed as the only source of food. (source)
So can hamsters eat budgie food?
It isn’t the best food for hamsters to eat as it is specifically made specifically for the nutritional requirements of budgies and are not suitable for hamsters.
However, if they have a nibble of it they will be fine.
